This butter bell is glazed in the popular dark glaze that has the glorious amber runs in it. The mushrooms are hand etched into the clay and together they create a dark mystical magic.
Thrown on the wheel in two parts, they work by filling the bell with softened butter to then be able to scoop it out when needed. The base has a trough that can be filled with water, so the bell will sit in that creating a seal keeping contaminants out. Or (like me) just use without water for less of a spill risk.
Approximate size: 11cm tall.
Care instructions: dishwasher safe but handwash for extra care.
