Dark Pine Moon Butter Bell

A friend of mine asked to make her a butter bell. So I made three, and they are a delight to make! Thrown on the wheel in two parts, they work by filling the bell with softened butter to then be able to scoop it out when needed. The base has a trough that can be filled with water, so the bell will sit in that creating a seal keeping contaminants out. Or if you are alike me, then just use without water for less of a spill risk. 
 
PLEASE NOTE, the bell is not a perfect circle- noticeable when looking at the inside (see photos) however it doesn't affect the aesthetic or the practical use of it.
