Lady Lake Goddess Mug

A small collection of goddess mugs, each of them very different in their character.
 
This is the Lady Lake Goddess, inspired by a friend who suggested the theme of lilly pads and tadpoles. It represents so many of us; calm and composed beauty on the surface with a bustling, busy world below - our two sides often in conflict but if aligned they work together as a thriving ecosystem making up our complex human selves. 
 
Thrown on the wheel then the face sculpted into the surfaces, details hand made. This mug is glazed a satin earthy turquoise.
