Magpie Chalice

This Chalice is hand thrown by me in two parts on my potters wheel. It's such a gorgeous form to throw and then decorating was pure joy. This one is hand etched with a spread Magpie, the bird a reminder to be cheeky, to collect treasure and chatter with our flock unapologetically. The chalice is finished with touches of 22 karat gold which is fired permanently onto the surface. The Glaze is a deep midnight blue.
