Serpent Goddess Mug

A small collection of goddess mugs, each of them very different in their character. This is the Serpent Goddess, inspired by many a goddess who embraces the serpent to them. A symbol of rebirth and fertility but also of mesmerising power. Serpents are both feared and revered, and so they speak to those who don't fear rejection but only wish to be adored for their authentic selves. 
 
Thrown on the wheel then the face sculpted into the surfaces, details hand made. This mug is glazed in a combination of glossy black on the inside and lip for comfortable sipping, and a new glaze called Moon Scape which is a wonderful satin texture of silvery dots.
