Unicorn Mug

My very first Unicorn Mug. I wanted to bring the magic of these mystical creatures without the marshmellow pink and fluffness that my daughter loves. Unicorns have been taken over by the cartoon world of childhood, but let's not forget that these beautiful creatures come from our past. That distant time where folk would explore new corners of this strange unknown world. Where native tribes were intruded upon by explorers, where superstition was fact and mythical creatures came from both the imagination of man and the mistaken identity of goats and rhinos and wild horses. I don't think that people mistook a rhino for a horse, but that without photos the tale of these wonderous creatures were passed on and on, changing with each retelling to become more believable than the rhino itself, more like a horse that's familiar.

Care instructions: hand wash only. Not suitable for the microwave due to the gold.
