Potion Bottle Workshop Saturday 17th October 10am - 1pm Join me in crafting your own ceramic potion bottle which can be used to hold your magical potions and lotions. This is a relaxed but fun workshop where I will demonstrate the steps to creating your own potion bottle from clay. You can make it in your own preferred shape, then add a label, decoration and craft a stopper. Your potion bottle will be fired and glazed by me after the session, so will become a fully working potion bottle!You could add sculpted mushrooms, or press real herbs into the clay, paint on runes or etch magical symbols into your bottle. The stopper could be topped with a crescent moon or a warty toad- or whatever else your imagination magics up! This is suitable for complete beginners to clay or those with more experience. After the workshop, I will dry and fire your creations, then glaze dip and fire again so in 6- 8 weeks later you'll have your pottery to enjoy at home. I can post pots for an extra charge (min £10) if you plan on coming from further afield. Set in my Lost Garden Studio, you'll experience my garden pottery haven, surrounded by trees and plants, the odd fox and squirrel, and many birds. I do heat the studio but please bring warm layers and wear clothing you don't mind getting clay and paint on. Booking Please book online. Cancellations If you need to cancel your place on your course I can refund the amount in full if cancelled 14 days or more before the start date, after this date I can not refund any of the payment. Please Note: Strictly over 18s only. All materials, tools and firing services are included and aprons are supplied. You will be able to collect finished pieces 3/4 weeks after the pottery day. Our friendly dog may be around- if you can't be around dogs then just let me know before we start the course to discuss your needs. I'm afraid that I don't currently have wheelchair access as there are two patio steps. If I need to cancel, I will contact you all as soon as I know and make arrangements to reschedule.
